The Faction System is one of our special features that we are very proud of to present.
In WarfareRO, there are two Factions; Angels and Demons, compare it with good and evil.
To join a Faction you must first do a quest, this quest can be done at the "Faction Helper" located at Prontera, it is not very hard.
When you complete the Faction quest you'll receive a unique item, this item is a Aura and it can be equipped on
your "Costume" tab in the equipment window, we've done this so that it does not interfere with your other(/main) equipments.
The aura states that you are a part of a Faction. With this Aura (either equipped or in your inventory) you'll be allowed to join the Faction War Event.
Other than a change of appearance (if it is equipped), it does not give your character any special status bonuses.
Regardless of that, being a part of a Faction is a must if you want to get the most out of the server, so it is recommended that you do the quest!
Now here is what they look like, the Aura's!

Since the server launched not very long ago, we've put the participant requirement for the Faction War on 3 members for each side,
so it's a 3 vs 3 battle. The process is as followed:
Every 3 hours, there will be a server-wide announcement displayed that the Faction War is about to start. If you wish to join the event, we recommend
you to go sign up right away. (This is because, as stated above, there are only 3 available slots on each side, this means that the first 3 players that
sign up will get to join the Faction War. If you happen to be the forth person, you will not be able to participate. We've done this because we want
fair amounts.)
After signing up, you'll be warped to your Factions' "Waiting Room". All you have to do is simply enter the NPCs Chat Room and wait 'til it is filled.
Keep in mind, even if the Chat Room is full there is still a chance you won't get warped. The reason for this is because then the other Faction does not
have 3 members representing them yet.
If clearly two minutes have passed and you're still there waiting in the Chat Room, you're suggested to just leave, because this means the other Faction'
lacks members - We hope this won't be the case for a much longer time, however seeing how the server is still new, for now this is not something that
can be avoided.
Anyway! Let's pretend everything went well! Okay, so now you've been warped to the battle arena, the point obviously is to kill the other Faction.
It's a countdown of scores. Both Factions start with (currently) 15 lifes - in total, not per person! This means that the Faction that kills the members
of the other Faction 15 times first will be the winner.

When the actual war starts, you can gather "War Coins". This is a special currency that can be exchanged for many
items in the "War Coin Machine". Now you probably wonder how to get many of them, allow me to help you there~

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]1x War Coin - For each kill you make.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3x War Coin - For the winning Faction.
The War Coins will be awarded after the Faction War, so, if you die rather fast; do not panic that you don't receive a War Coin right away.
After the match is over, you will get your War Coin(s).
An exception, of course, is for the War Coins you gain for killing, these will be awarded right away.
The War Coin Machine vends extremely useful and powerful items. You should go take a look yourself. An example
of these items are our Excellent Weapons, to find out what they're like please find the War Coin Machine NPC in Prontera.
